Culkin and Miner first met when they were 14 in New York City. The latter had just enrolled at the Professional Children's School where she introduced herself to her future husband. At that time, Miner was on the CBS soap, Guiding Light, playing the role of Michelle Bauer. Meanwhile, Culkin had just taken a pause from acting following his hit films, Home Alone, My Girl, and The Good Son.
But their meet-cute wasn't as pleasant as you'd think. Apparently, the actor didn't respond to the new student nicely. After several arrests in the mid-2000s, he died by overdose in 2008 at age 25. At that time, Miner continued to appear on TV shows like Cold Case, Criminal Minds, and Sons of Anarchy.
In 2013, she took a break from acting from the end of her character's storyline on Supernatural.
